AC ARMOR ARMOUR ARMOURCLASS ARMORCLASS AC-APPLY ACAPPLY "AC APPLY" "ARMOR CLASS"

AC is short for Armor Class. Your AC modifies your chances of getting hit in
combat. Positive AC numbers (i.e. AC-Apply 23 or +10 ARMOR) are beneficial.
Negative numbers are a penalty.

Most clothing items (armor, leggings, etc.) and some magic items (staves, rings,
amulets) modify your overall AC. AC-apply is the inherent toughness of the worn item
(material, density, type of item, etc.) Magic items often have a "magical
protection" or "spiritual protection" enchantment. This fuctions the same as
physical AC bonuses described above and will make you harder to hit in combat.
Some items will actually reduce your AC (a penalty), make you easier to hit.

All Fighters, Rogues, and Monastics get an inherent bonus to AC based on level as
follows:
Monks = 3.25 AC per level
Samurai / Monastics = 2 AC per level
Rangers = 1.5 AC per level
Barbarians = 1.2 AC per level
All rogues / other fighters = 1 AC per level

Usage: To see your AC use AC or DEFENSE
